memphisonhalloweeeenmorning.

this is krystee speaking.it is halloween.and i woke up in a hostel parking lot in memphis,tn.we randomly met a group of kids when we were looking for a place to park.and one of them worked at this hostel right next door to this sweet coffee shop.everything is coming and going so fast.left chicago.went to rockford.saw my dear family of friends.drove the bus alone for the first time.loved it.dumpster diving at the goooodwill.yesssss.lots of food and a comfortable place to sleeep.gunshots at the concord.a trip to the rock quarry in ashton,il to staceees grandmas farm.the rock quarry was a step out of reality.goood friends and a dog and cliffffs and water.and sweeet rocks with littttle specks of sparkles.ryan fixed his tall bike.which has proved to make at least 111 people smile thus far.biking in memphis was awesome.it is warm in the day.cold at night.mystery was petrified for the first few days.2 nights ago he walked off the bus and looked around,so we let him go.he stayed gone for all night and all day.we walked around looking 4 him.no luck.there was a lot of cats walking around.one guy told us to just grab one of those.but i didn't feeel as if i could leave this city without mystery.well last night he came back.walking with another prettty kitty.so he found a friend.he came back in the bus and slept on the bed with us.......i was so happppeeee to seee such a thing.since we r staying in a hostel parking lot,we have met a few other travelers.a couple from belguim that r here in america exploring for 3 months.they came to memphis to go to graceland which is where they were going to today.but it was 30.oo so we said no thanx for us.also a couple from london, they may ride with us to new orleans.we shall seeeee.but coming to memphis and meeeting people and playing music and exploring has made me feeeel more settled about travelling.its crazeee bc there is no schedule.we r like water filling in the crevices of the day as we will.and each burst of wind changes our direction.we met a guy named Count Z bop.he is from new orleans but apparenlty always plays at Java Cabana,at their open mic.they had a piano there and he was tearing it to shreds.he was crazeeeee just like i like people to be.i got to play the piano as well and passed out some cds to unsuspecting minds.unaware what they r getttting themselves into. i feeeel like its my new mission.hopefully i can make some money playing on the streets in new orleans, but i wannnnnna give cds to people.technology is amazing.............it really is.i can't really focus my thoughts right now.but as i said, today is halloweeeeen.we r probally going to a show at a co-op tonight......lots of musicccc, and who knows what will happen exactly.but i am happee and gruntled now.open to life and new things.and mystery is adjusting and comfortable..........i misssss my friends in chicago.i miss chicago.i do.it became my home.but i will return some day......but here i am in memphis.elvis lived here once.i like it here.4 now........
Biking to the Otherlands Coffee Bar in midtown Memphis, tall bike continues to be a spectacle. A guy named John driving a pickup stopped to snap a few. He emailed me these.
